About the Workshop:
This session will provide an in-depth overview of how the German education system is structured, from primary to secondary education, with a special focus on the pathways for becoming a qualified teacher in Germany. Participants will learn about the dual emphasis on academic training and practical teaching experience, the role of state examinations, and how German teacher education compares to the Indonesian system. The workshop is designed to broaden the pedagogical horizons of future science educators and inspire potential improvements in local teaching practices.
