Surakarta, June 2, 2025 —The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FTTE) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) welcomed an esteemed guest from Japan, Professor Kiyoyuki Ohshika of Aichi University of Education (AUE), as part of an academic collaboration initiative between the two institutions.
Professor Ohshika was warmly received by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Imam Sujadi, M.Si., accompanied by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, Dr.paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, S.Pd., M.Si., M.Sc., as well as representatives from the FKIP International Office.
This official visit marked a significant step in strengthening international academic ties, with the primary agenda being the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UNS and Aichi University of Education. The agreement aims to foster academic collaboration in the fields of teacher education, research, student and faculty exchange, and joint academic programs.
During the visit, both parties expressed their commitment to promoting global partnerships and advancing educational innovation through joint research and cross-cultural academic exchange. The meeting also included discussions on possible future activities under the MoU, including collaborative seminars, curriculum development, and visiting scholar programs.
The visit of Professor Ohshika not only solidifies the relationship between FKIP UNS and AUE but also reflects UNS’s ongoing commitment to internationalization and the pursuit of excellence in global education.
