Surakarta, 27 November 2025 – The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) has officially concluded the School Field Experience Program (PLP) for its students at Singapore School Indonesia (SIS). The closing ceremony was held virtually on Friday, 27 November 2025, marking the successful completion of a three-month teaching practice abroad.
The event was attended by the Dean of FKIP, Dr. Imam Sujadi, M.Si., along with representatives from the International Office (IO) including Dr. Farida Nurhasanah, S.Pd., M.Pd., and her team. Representing SIS were Ms. Minar, Mr. Fajar, and Mr. Annas, who have guided the students throughout the program.



Three FKIP students participated in the program from September to November 2025:
- Arifia Fitrianni Ma’ruf (Science Education) taught Physics-Chemistry Integrated Science and Indonesian Language.
- Diah Putri Sulistia Ningtias (English Education) taught English, Informatics, Arts & Culture, and Mathematics.
- Sholikhawati Nur Cantikasari (Biology Education) taught Indonesian Language, Physical Education, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Biology.
During the program, the students were assigned to teach twice a week across various grade levels, from primary to senior high school. Their responsibilities included preparing lesson plans, teaching modules, presentation materials, and learning media. They conducted both independent and team-teaching sessions alongside mentor teachers, employing interactive methods such as discussions, demonstrations, and simple practical activities.
In addition to teaching, the students were involved in classroom administration, such as recording grades and summarizing assignments, and participated in school events including flag ceremonies and national holiday celebrations.
The students are scheduled to return to Indonesia on 12 December 2025. This program has provided them with invaluable international teaching experience and has strengthened the collaboration between UNS and Sekolah Indonesia Singapura.
