

On Friday, January 3, 2025, at 9:00 AM, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), held a send-off ceremony for five students participating in the “Semester @NIE Batch 2” program. The event took place in the Meeting Room, Building F, and marked the official departure of the students to Singapore for a study program at the National Institute of Education (NIE). The five students are Denanda Nazlah Khairunnisa, Clarissa Putri Setyoningsih Santoso, and Dzakiyach Aufa Furqony from the Chemistry Education program, Ayu Monic Veronica from English Education, and Muhammad Haikal Pramardika from Mathematics Education. They will engage in academic and cultural activities at NIE from January to May 2025.

The ceremony was attended by representatives from the UNS International Office and Faculty leadership. Dr. Yuyun Estriyanto, S.T., M.T., and Dr.paed. Nurma Yunita Indriyanti, S.Pd., M.Si., M.Sc., as Vice Deans, delivered insightful remarks and motivational guidance for the students. They emphasized the importance of adaptability, professionalism, and cultural exchange during the program. The students were encouraged to make the most of this unique opportunity to enhance their academic knowledge and broaden their global perspectives.
This program reflects UNS’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and academic excellence. By participating in “Semester @NIE Batch 2,” the students not only represent UNS on the global stage but also gain invaluable experiences that will contribute to their personal and professional growth.
